Charles Chishimba Manyema jr., born 1972 in Lusaka, Zambia. His father Charles C. Manyema sen. was The Secretary to The Cabinet in Zambia before being appointed as Ambassador to Germany, where he served in Bonn from 1991 – 1992. Charles Jr. went to The Goethe Institute in Bonn, where he graduated with a Certificate in The German Lanuage. Thereafter, he underwent Vocational training in Publishing Management at Hänssler-Verlag, one of the major Christian Music and Literature Publishing Houses in Europe and later studied Theology at a Bible College in Wiedenest, Germany. In 1998, he married Tanja with whom he founded Lifebridge in 2002. He currently works for Daimler AG in Zuffenhausen near Stuttgart in the Automative/Motor Dept. at. As Executive Director of the organisation in Germany, Charles Manyema is committed to the transparent management of donated funds from Germany and around Europe and ensures that every Euro reaches its intended destination. He is also actively involved in various charity and fund raising activities within Germany.

Tanja Finkenbeiner-Manyema. born 1971 in Nagold Germany The trained Dentist’s Assistant married Charles Manyema in 1998 and they have 3 children together; Jerome, Kenanjah and Gideon. Tanja is currently a housewife, running the household but also devoting most of her time to the organisatory work for Lifebridge. Her determination to see that the project in Kafue is run successfully and that there is accountability and transparency has been tremendously vital with regard to the donors and the fiscal authorities in Germany. |

Tatjana Kosch, born 1970, in Mannheim. Being employed in the offices of one of the major Furniture Stores in Germany, Tatjana has always helped with the office work for Lifebridge from the start. Together with her entire family, she continues to be a great source of support to the organisation by holding lectures and actively taking part in fund raising events. |

Martin Nkhoma, born 1969, in Lusaka /Zambia Having attended Secondary School with Charles Manyema way back in the 80s, Martin has been a faithful companion of his friend along the years. Their friendship was not broken with the physical seperation or the distance between them but grew all the more stronger as they kept communicating. Martin had always been involved in a lot of social work through his music and theater career and so when Lifebridge was founded in Germany, Martin was the right person in Zambia to be entrusted with the responsibilty of directing and co-ordinating the concept. As a resident of Kafue, who has lived there since his childhood days, he knows the basic needs and interests of the people of Kafue. Together with his wife Erika and their children, Martin’s hard working but hearty spirit, his loyalty and outstanding commitment to Lifebridge are qualities that are greatly appreciated by all the members. |

Erika Banda Nkhoma, born 1970, in Kafue As a nurse in one of the Clinics in Lusaka, Erika is a great assistant to her husband Martin. Thanks to her medical knowledge and competence, she is well qualified to lead various medical and Health Care projects, for example; the use of Natural Medicines made from African Plants to treat Malaria and other diseases.

Violet Kafula, born in Mufulira /Zambia Together with Martin and Theresa Chabala, Violet is a member of the Zambian Executive Board. When Lifebridge was registered in Zambia in 2004, she was one of the founding members who professionally moderated and documented the first meeting. Since then, Violet has always been deteremined to get more voluntary members from the Zambian prominence who can support Lifebridge in a honorary capacity. Violet has enriched Lifebridge with her long experience of work with various other local and international organisations to improve the living condition of women and children in Zambia. |

Theresa Chabala, born in Lusaka /Zambia Theresa is the fourth member of the Executive Board. She is fully devoted and committed to the work among the orphaned children. With her charming and open personality, she always manages to naturally ease the tension in a difficult situation. Theresa and Violet are in charge of the documentation and paper work of Lifebridge in Zambia.

Andreas Tembo, born 1969, in Lusaka /Zambia Andreas is one of the voluntary workers that have contributed a lot to Lifebridge from the beginning. Being a builder by profession, he has always been a good assistant to Martin in the construction of the Aid Center in Kafue.
